Toby Keith is kicking off the 2013 RodeoHouston concerts with his Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo performance Monday night. It's his ninth time to perform at the event since he made his RodeoHouston debut in 1995, and his first appearance since 2010.
Toby is just one of a number of country stars who'll be entertaining at the 21-day event. Alan Jackson will be taking the stage at Houston's Reliant Stadium for a tenth consecutive year on Wednesday, which is also Armed Forces Appreciation Day.
Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, and Luke Bryan are some of the other stars on board for the three-week concert series, while Jake Owen, Brantley Gilbert, and the Randy Rogers Band are making their RodeoHouston debuts this year. The Randy Rogers Band is on the bill for the event's final concert, featuring George Strait and Martina McBride.
A number of other artists are slated to perform as well. Mary J. Blige will be featured on the event's Black Heritage Day this Friday. Styx, Demi Lovato, and Bruno Mars are a few of the other stars also on the event's lineup.
