It's now been ten years since Miranda Lambert got her first big break through competing on the reality series "Nashville Star." But even a decade later the country singer says she feels like she's only getting started.
Lambert says she aspires to use her music "for greater things" and "bigger ideas," and to "always find things" that inspire her.
She cites Pistol Annies as an example of her goals. Miranda describes her trio with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley as a project that inspires her as an individual artist as well. She adds that she thinks it's "a good thing to just always keep growing."
Lambert will soon release her second album with Pistol Annies. Annie Up is due in stores on May 7th.
